Welcome to the Indianapolis Literary Club
Who are we? We are an all-male organization made up of professors, artists, journalists, architects, lawyers, rabbis and ministers, physicians, business executives, librarians and a wide variety of others who share a common attribute: we are curious. Two long established all-women's literary clubs in the city -- the Indianapolis Woman's Club and the Fortnight Literary Club -- complement our Club.
What do we do?We meet for intellectual enrichment, intelligent discussion and camaraderie. At each meeting, one member of the Club presents an original essay on a topic of his choice followed by questions and conversation from those Club members in attendance.
What kind of topics?
Recent presentations have covered varied subjects such as photography, mountain climbing, book reports, historical essays, economic analysis, medical topics, architecture and karate. When do we meet?
